Dwarka Pilgrimage For Vaishnavite Hindu religion - Gujarat
The Holy place was home of lord shri Krishna a pilgrimage site to hindus Dwarka offers major tourist sites like Bhadkeshwar Temple, Dwarkadish Temple, and Rukmani Temple, Shri Jagalguru Shankaracharya Math, Ved Havan, Sunset Point, Lighthouse and Shardapath Math Museum.

The legendary city of Dvaraka was the dwelling place of Lord Krishna. It is believed that due to damage and destruction by the sea, Dvaraka has submerged six times and modern day Dwarka is therefore the seventh such city to be built in the area.

Janmashtami (birthday of Lord Krishna), celebrated in the month of August/September, is a major festival of Dwarka.
Jamnagar is the nearest airport and its 145 kms away from Dwarka. Dwarka is on the western railway. State Transport buses and private buses are available to reach Dwarka.

The modern city of Dwarka is located in the Jamnagar District of Gujarat. It is located close to where the gomti merges into the Gulf of Kutch. The city lies in the westernmost part of India.
Dwarka is one of seven most holy places for Hindus in India where Varanasi is considered as the holiest of the seven holy cities.

The present temple was built in 16th century CE, while the original temple was believed to have been built by Krishna's grandson, Vajranabha. The 5-storied temple is made of limestone and sand. A flag hoisted in the temple tower five times each day. There are two gateways - Swarga Dwar, where pilgrims enter, and Moksha Dwar, where pilgrims exit. From the temple one can view the Sangam (confluence) of River Gomati flowing towards the sea. In Dwaraka, there are also shrines for Vasudeva, Devaki, Balarama and Revati, Subhadra, Rukmini Devi, Jambavati Devi and Satyabhama Devi.

There is a special temple for Rukmini Devi on the way to Bet Dwarka temple, which can be reached by boat. A similar deity of Lord Dwarakanath is also kept in Bet Dwaraka. The temple has many Shrines for Lakshmi Narayana, Trivikrama, Jambavati Devi, Satyabhama Devi and Rukmini Devi.

Religious sites In Gujarat
Dwarakadheesh temple In Dwarka is one of the important temples dedicated to Krishna. On the tip of the Arabian Sea, it was home to Krishna.

Palitana Temples are a complex of Jain temples situated 51 km south west of Bhavnagar. There are 863 temples from the base to the peak of the Shatrunjaya hill, where the Palitana temples are located.

Somnath Temple located in the Prabhas Kshetra near Veraval in Saurashtra. Somnath means "The Protector of Moon God". The Somnath Temple is known as 'the Shrine Eternal', The temple has been destroyed six times, but was rebuilt on each occasion.

Modhera Sun Temple is famous for its rare position as specifically and uniquely designed for the worship of the Sun, Lord Surya., painting, and sculptures, there is a central pond. Surrounding it stands 108 small temples for each of the Sun God's 108 names.

Sidi Saiyyed Mosque In Ahmedabad is one such famous and ancient mosque of the city. The Mosque in the year 1411 A.D. Built by Sidi Sayed, The mosque is famous all over the country because of its fantastic architecture and exquisite jali work (perforated stone lattices).
